Pavlo and serge did a great job with our ikea kitchen installation. What would have taken us 3 weeks and a lot of fighting, they did in 1 day! Good attention to detail and precise fitting. Seeing how they worked with an ikea kitchen, I’m sure they’re just as good with standard kitchen installations. To top it off they were very nice and professional.Posted on Google![]()

Thank you to Paul and Vitaly for building us a beautiful kitchen in record time! Our renovation was huge, but they got the job done so quickly and so beautifully. They were very attentive to detail, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. We love our new kitchen so much! Do not hesitate to use these guys.
Most Folsom remodel calls start with one room. Cabinet doors that sag, shower grout that keeps cracking in the same line, carpet upstairs that is done. Before we price anything, we work out whether you need a refresh or a tear-out, because that one choice sets the budget. Pro Life Construction is a licensed general contractor, CSLB #1138520. Folsom is its own permit city inside Sacramento County. Work on city parcels goes through the City of Folsom Community Development Department and its Building Division, not the Sacramento County counter and not Placer County. If your house sits across the line in El Dorado Hills, the permit path changes again. We confirm which office owns your parcel before demo day.
The houses change a lot from one part of town to the next. Older homes near the Historic District and Sutter Street tend to hide surprises behind the walls. The 1980s to 2000s subdivisions, places like Natoma Station, Broadstone, and Empire Ranch, usually keep their layouts and need tired builder-grade kitchens, baths, and floors replaced. Newer homes in Folsom Ranch south of Highway 50 are mostly upgrade work, not repair.
Send a few photos and tell us what bugs you about the room. We walk it with you, tell you which scope fits, and put a number on paper. Call or text (916) 200-6617.
Often yes, if you move plumbing, change electrical, or touch framing. Paint and new flooring over a sound subfloor usually do not need one. Folsom city parcels go through the City of Folsom Building Division, and we pull the permit as part of the job when the scope calls for it.
The parcel decides, not the mailing address. Homes outside Folsom city limits go through Sacramento County, and homes across the line in El Dorado Hills go through El Dorado County. We check your parcel before we quote the permit side of the job.
Usually. Most bathroom jobs we sell are tile: new shower walls, a rebuilt pan when the old one failed, and new floor tile over proper waterproofing. If rot or a layout change forces a bigger job, you hear it before demo.
A cabinet and appliance install can take a day or a few days. A full tear-out runs weeks, and permit review and material lead times add to that. We give you a schedule at the estimate and tell you when it changes.

A cabinet refresh, new counters, or a full tear-out to the studs. We tell you which one your kitchen actually needs before you pay for the bigger job.
Our bathroom work is tile work: shower walls, pans, and floors set over real waterproofing. If the layout has to move, you hear that up front.
Vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood, and floor tile. Flat floors start with the subfloor, so we check it first.
For kitchens where the layout works and the boxes do not. Doors close, reveals line up, and appliances sit level.
Exterior work that has to take a Folsom summer. Some neighborhoods need HOA sign-off on colors and materials, so we check before anything gets ordered.
We take jobs across Folsom, from the Historic District and Natoma Station to Empire Ranch, Broadstone, and Folsom Ranch south of Highway 50. Nearby cities we cover are on our service areas page.
